Barrier-free access

Declaration on accessibility according to BayEGovV

Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament obliges public sector bodies to provide barrier-free access to their websites. The following declaration on barrier-free access documents the current state of implementation on this website according to the relevant legislation.

Conformity status

Partial conformity: Some parts of the website’s content do not fully conform to barrier-free standards.

Known problems relating to barrier-free access

List and explanation of the problems in terms of implementing barrier-free access to this website

Content that is not barrier-free

  1. Foreign-language terms are not always labeled as such.
  2. Online forms do not highlight errors directly in the relevant field; the time out is not displayed and cannot be adjusted
  3. With regard to sortability, the elements are only linked to one another textually, not structurally.
  4. The keyboard focus of the menu lacks contrast in the mobile version.
  5. Some PDF documents are not barrier-free.

Reason

The City of Munich works continuously to improve its website and, due to the amount of material and complexity of the site, it has not yet been able to ensure all content and services are available barrier-free.
