Expo Real 2023: Munich’s future as a real estate center

The City of Munich is teaming up with 27 regional partners to present the city at the Expo Real trade fair in Munich from October 4 to 6, 2023.

Together with 27 partners from the real estate sector, the City of Munich’s Department of Urban Planning and Building Regulation and Municipal Services Department, under the guidance of the Department of Labor and Economic Development, will be representing Munich at the Expo Real 2023 trade fair from October 4 to 6.

This year, around 10,000 visitors are again expected at the joint stand in Hall A1.320. The City of Munich has plenty to offer at the 25th International Trade Fair for Real Estate and Investment.

Podium events on October 4

This year, too, the City of Munich offers plenty of podium events looking at current developments in the city’s real estate market.

  • 3:00 p.m. Nicht nur Wohnungsbau in der Krise (New housing is not the only crisis) – The multiple challenges in the current market environment
  • 3:45 p.m. Innenstadt weiterdenken (Rethinking the inner city) – Climate-friendly and mixed-use transformation of the inner city
  • 4:30 p.m. Wohnquartiere der Zukunft (Tomorrow’s residential districts) – What happens to old back-office premises?

Podium events on October 5

  • 10:00 a.m. Startup Champs – Presentation of the initiative, signing of MOUs between the participating cities Munich, Hamburg, Berlin, and Cologne
  • 10:45 a.m. Spaces 4 Scaleups – Potential spaces for emerging startups and scaleups in Munich
  • 1:00 p.m. Neue Assetklassen (New asset classes) – Digital connectivity for commercial real estate
  • 1:45 p.m. Kreativwirtschaftliche Zwischennutzungen (Interim use of space by creatives) – The national “Netzwerk Zwischennutzung” is a network that boosts the potential of empty urban premises by encouraging availability for interim use.
  • 4:00 p.m. Endlich Bewegung in der Metropolregion (Metropolitan Region finally moving again) – The international construction exhibition “Räume für Mobilität” (“Spaces for Mobility”) looks to you for inspiration!

Marktplatz München (Market Place Munich)

We are teaming up with our fellow stand operators Bayerische Hausbau, BayernLB, KGAL, and many other real estate companies to present our city at the “Marktplatz München”.
