Some 200 visiting scholars from almost 30 countries attended a reception at Munich’s Town Hall (Rathaus), where they exchanged international views on a whole range of professional and cultural topics.
The plots are made available on a leasehold basis. Companies have to apply and will be chosen in a selection procedure by resolution of the Munich City Council.
This makes Munich the first German city where Waymo is launching its driverless ride hailing service. The first test drives will take place in the coming weeks.
Since its opening, the Munich Urban Colab has developed as a model of successful cooperation between city government, academia, business, and the urban community.
